editorial review on amazon ...corsi book ....puke alert....this is unbelievable
i really can't believe this shit...

(snip)
In this stunning and comprehensive new book, the reader will learn about: -Obama's extensive connections with Islam and radical politics, from his father and step-father's Islamic backgrounds, to his Communist and socialist mentors in Hawaii and Chicago, to his long-term and close associations with former Weather Underground heroes William Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn—associations much closer than heretofore revealed by the press
-Barack and Michelle's 20-year-long religious affiliation with the black-liberation theology of former Trinity United Church of Christ Reverend Jeremiah Wright, whose sermons have always been steeped in a rage first expressed by Franz Fanon , Stokely Carmichael and Malcolm X, a rage that Corsi shows has deep meaning for Obama

"Full Of Distortions"

I heard several months ago that the author of "Unfit to Command" planned to write a book detailing why Hillary Clinton was not fit to be president. When Obama started doing well in the primaries, Corsi's subject obviously changed. This arouses suspicion that Corsi starts with a goal of defeating the Democratic Presidential candidate and then creates his story, rejecting anything that might contradict his theory.

Much of this book is innuendo that cannot be proven or dis-proven. Take, for example, Obama's supposed Muslim background. Corsi is basing his "accusation" on the fact that Obama lived in Indonesia for four years (up to age 10) and Indonesia is largely Muslim. Did Obama attend a mosque or not? Well, I've been in synagogues, churches and yes, a mosque very special to Muslims. What does that make me?

If we are looking at background, we must apply the same scrutiny to Corsi. We must look at his appearances on white supremacist radio shows and his promotion of conspiracy theories of a North American Union and what our government is hiding about 9-11.

Here's More:
On Pages 49-50, Corsi states that Obama did not dedicate Dreams from My Father to his mother or his grandparents. BUT - on Page xvii, Obama did acknowledge (with gratitude) his family and dedicate the book to them.

Then there's the whole Rezko/property business. Corsi cites a Salon article and claims Rezko set up the deal. But, if you actually read the article (hardly fawning over Obama) the real estate agent, Donna Schwan said she couldn't remember.

Corsi also wrongly states that Obama was the only one voting against a controversial abortion bill (2001). Corsi even cites a (Illinois State) Senate transcript, but still gets it wrong.

Visit www.fightthesmears.com for the truth about Obama.

Hit back with facts folks, not just calling Corsi an insane liar.
you can also find more debunking at Media Matters.

It is good to have even more facts.

As I read over the reviews of Corsi's trash (on Amazon) I noticed most of the negative ones just called it lies, slander, etc but didn't refute any specific claims Corsi made. I wanted to be sure to do this in my review to show I am not just having a knee jerk reaction and trying to lower the book's rating without reading it.

I am basing my negative review on facts and research. ;-)
