Jacksonville prepares for Hurricane Fay landfall Thursday PM

Will be executing final preps tomorrow. Last time a Cat 1 hit they lost power for several days down here.

2. My best friend lives on Amelia Island.

Mandatory evacuation with Cat. 1 hurricanes. They are not rich--work in a service industry in a rich town. I hope they have the money to evacuate and stay inland for a few days.

3. When we lived in Ponte Vedra Beach we had to evacuate twice.

Terrifying to leave your house not knowing if you would ever see it again.

My request to Lord Michael for your protection (and the protection of all our friends there) has been made.
