What say you, DU? I think we should do this. I know some will say the money could go to better causes, but she deserves this as does what she stood for and THAT is cause enough for me.

PS - how can she be gone?

She was a public figure, but she also had a family. Sometimes it's best to give the family time away from the crowds.

she was one of, seemed like only 3 people in Congress willing to help challenge the theft of the 2004 election. I don't know if the rest were stupid or cowards or what; but she was the opposite of whatever.

32. UPDATE - I've contacted a couple florists about them accepting a fund via paypal
Last time I handled it and put the funds towards the flowers for Helen. Because of the large order, we got a bulk deal but that didn't include cleaning and arranging - DUers did that (and I thank them from the bottom of my heart) but if we're going to do this again, I'd like to arrange the payments to go directly to the florist and for the flowers to be delivered pre-arranged.

41. This may have already been answered but
have you called her office or her church or the Obama office near by to get the name of a Florist within the community?

I say that because during the Primary I called the OBAMA staff in Carolina to get a recommendation for a Restaurant that was popular in that area. The Obama people were wonderful and directed me to the perfect place.
