and from down between my knees the Gyno pops his head up over my drape and says, "Can you believe that McCain is trying to imply Obama is the Anti-Christ?" (I believe the very vivid "Obama 08" shirt I am wearing is what has given him leave to make such a bold political statement to a virtual stranger.) He confesses he believes Karl Rove is the Anti-Christ, while I express my belief it is indeed Dick Cheney. And we proceed to have a great discussion about the race and general political scene, all the while I am getting the finger and lube treatment. :rofl:

I was very tempted to tell him about DU, but I am not sure how comfortable I would be knowing my GYN is watching me post. :scared: :rofl:

Yes, it's a surreal experience having a casual conversation with a GYN under those circumstances. Maybe they do it to make it seem less awkward, but I don't know if that's possible. :)

I get very chatty and excited when I am talking politics -- normally I just look at the celing during exams, but this time I am holding an eye to eye, animated converstation with a man between my legs! :D

It's just nice to know there was one more vote out there for us. :hi:

ETA: Somedays I think about having a scrapbook to journal or share pictures of the insane. Funny things that happen during the day, conversations in the oddest of places. This story would definitely fit in that book.

my doc is very cool. We always talk about politics and the state of the world when i get my physicals. But then I've been seeing her for years.

who all tend to also be very cool. My acupuncturist and I would spend the first 20 minutes of our session ranting about how much we couldn't stand Bush! Even my therapist and I have sidetracked into our mutual dislike of BushCo. and the past 7 years. It's always nce to find kindred spirits, even if they are giving you a pap smear. :rofl: :hi:
