Don't get me wrong I watch CSPAN quite often, actually spent the entire day yesturday watching the Convention on CSPAN. Wolf Blitzer doesn't have a bad show and it isn't clear to me that he is slanted either way and I like to watch Keith Olbermann everyday.

For example he will ask a question like how does Obama's pick of Biden affect his campaign, then he will let his guest answer without injecting his own opinion. All he does on his show is report news and asks guests questions, that's it. I watch his show every afternoon and even if he is a little slanted or even republican he doesn't openly show it and if he is actually(I don't know, like I said it is hard for me to tell) I got respect for him to do a much better job of hiding it like the likes of O'reilly, Fox and Friends, and that female host on CNN that used to work for Fox News.

I have had a horrible couple of weeks. My Aunt passed away, took my Mom up to Newport to visit her one last time, Mom falls down a flight of stairs, breaks foot, come home to Fay on my doorstep.

We got tons of rain and lost power for a while but other than that, Life is Good. LOL

I've been thinking of you with Gustuv on the loose. How is it looking for you guys?

We're watching carefully - we're not out of the woods yet. If Gustav slows down and makes that WNW move, we can still get hit, particularly on our North Coast. We're as ready as we can be and are watching carefully. We might be lucky again. If necessary we'll put up the shutters in the morning. :grouphug:

How did your relatives make out in Florida, does your sister and nephew still live in the Gainesville area?

I will be watching for your area and praying that New Orleans is spared. I just worked in that area in July. It is still devestated. Of course the French Quarter and such looks like nothing ever happened, but the rest of the area is beyond belief, 3 years later. It was truly sad to see.

My nephew graduated from UF last year. He was living in Gainsville.

I got to hear him last year at the VFP convention. I was so wowed. He is an awesome public speaker. Absolutely awesome.
