The "angry Hillary supporters who won't vote for Obama" ..... ?
Has anyone ever met one?

If they exist, how many are there? Ten? Eighteen? One hundred and sixty two?

1. I haven't met any
I've heard them call the radio shows, but you never know how many of them are Republican shills.

2. Possibly my grandmother
The reason I have not bothered with her is because she is a California voter: nothing to worry about there. I plan to check in with her in a few days and see if she has cooled off.

3. My mother-in-law is going to write in Hillary (so she says)
but it doesn't matter because we are in California and her vote is canceled out by so many of our moderate Republican friends who'll vote for Obama.

I am a former Hillary supporter but am now completely behind Obama.

9. Writing in is different than voting McCain, though. I buy that some aren't voting Obama but I don't
buy that they're voting McCain. Most will move to Obama, a few center-right women will vote McCain, a few will write in, a few will vote McKinney. Realistically, I don't think this is much different than the Edwards or Kuchinich camp. Some will vote McKinney, some will write in, some will vote McCain.

12. I think that she'll get over it as time goes on and that she'll come around
I usually talk about choice, birth control, and other issues that could be important for me and her grand-kids.

I actually don't know any Clinton supporter who will vote for McCain.

18. I don't know any who will vote for McCain either. My guess is that it's an "in" for election theft.
I think it's important that we try to reach any real life "PUMA" candidates that we might know while rejecting the idea as a phenomenon. We can't allow the Republicans to invent a demographic responsible for the loss of the election.

4. We need to not take this bait. If radical feminists were going to protest they'd vote McKinney
not McCain. I think this is 80% Republican operation, 20% dupes. My guess is that there are less than 5000 former Hillary supporting women actually involved in this process. I simply do not buy that feminists are voting for anti-choice, anti-gay candidate to spite Barack Obama.

8. I know a 92 year old women in Northern Minnesota who is one!
She really wanted Hillary to win. She told me she would vote for McCain before she voted for Obama. I am working on her. I told her this country and the middle class can't afford another four years of republican rule. It's more a racist thing with her and I'm not sure what to say to a lifelong racist to convince her there is nothing to be afraid of.

11. The woman in the McCain ad was a former Wisconsin Clinton delegate
so there's one for sure.

Then there is the Democratic Leadership Council to consider (a RW political machine inside the Democratic Party) here's a couple of archived threads about them.

13. There is no such thing IMO

If you are a Hillary supporter you follow her lead and vote Obama. If on the other hand your a racist ass and need an excuse to vote against Obama well then it may be easier to say your mad and a Hillary supporter when in reality you are not. JMO

but certainly they would never vote for McCain. I'm working on getting them to vote for Obama.....and I tell you it's easier as time goes on.
