Once Respected for Homeland Security, Even Here Bush Proves to be a Screw-Up(Bush History, 8/29)

For all of Bush's many faults, at least in one area post 9/11, Bush had the public's confidence: homeland security. His administration spent billions to help the country cope if disaster strikes again. Katrina hits on this date testing Bush's efforts. It proves a graphic and tragic demonstration of the administration's incompetence.

All this, and a related, dumber than most, Bushism.
