Hope. Feels GOOD don't it?

I feel hope about my nation cautiously and warily, I try to temper any feelings of hopefulness with cold, rational reality, and my old friend pessimism, but I am feeling a slight sense of hope about voting for Barack Obama, a feeling I haven't felt in many long years.

Republicans love to crush and kill human hope, they operate out of fear, paranoia, dread and hopelessness, they have nothing to offer but a mean old man, a mean old agenda and foreign policy, wars, more wars, fascism, corporatism, torture, terror, hatred of homosexuals, hatred of women, hatred of anyone non-white, hate and hopelessness.

Thanks Barack, for giving me even the smallest sensation of hope, it feels good voting for you, real, real good.

After last night's speech I feel inspired to help my country get back on the right track.
