CNN's Dana Bash just reported
that a plane from Anchorage, Alaska arrived in Dayton, Ohio last night. She is speculating that Gov. Sarah Palin may be McCain's pick.

2. Does she have any nursing experience?
Okay, I don't want it to come across as sexist. I was already calling his veep pick his babysitter or his orderly.

Old Man Mcpow and Nurse Palin.

5. That would be a bizarre choice
She has been governor less than 2 years and is the subject of an investigation in her own state right now. Not to mention that on a debate stage Joe Biden would have her for breakfast.

It would be an extremely ill-judged and bad move done strictly to appeal to the female vote or the imaginary disaffected Hillary voters - all 200 of them. I really can't believe it, unless they literally couldn't find anyone else willing to sign onto McCain's Republican Donner Expedition.

17. Unless they really wanted to be president, that is.
We've seen how the presidency ages people. Why do we think mccain would make it through a full term? Just because the evil cheney lives forever doesn't mean that Little John will.

11. Wasn't she just a small-town mayor
prior to becoming governor? How could McSame ever claim that Obama is inexperienced?

12. Well, she comes "ethically challenged and under investigation," so she's perfect!
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/08/palin-mccain-vp.html

But now Palin is also caught in a probe of her official conduct that likely nixes whatever chance she had to be on the McCain ticket. She's only been a governor for two years, but that's about four times as long as someone else mentioned as GOP VP pick, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.

However, questions have now arisen over whether Palin used her office to try and fire her ex -brother-in-law from a state trooper's position. Palin asserts the charge is untrue, but the Alaska Senate this week approved the hiring of an independent investigator to look into the allegation.

20. Somehow it seems appropriate that his running mate would be from Alaska.

Someone obviously told McLame that if he ever actually won the
Presidency in a fair vote it would be a cold day in Hell.
