One of the agents, who under the supervision of the Dutch intelligence agency AIVD managed to infiltrate into the Iranian industry, has recently been recalled, because in the U.S. the decision has been taken to attack Iran within a few weeks with unmanned aircraft.

6. Not necessarily so.
He would be committing an act of war without specific congressional approval. I don't think this will fly.

Also, the combat loadout of these unmanned vehicles is 500lb JDAMS and Hellfires. These are not strategic, but tactical weapons. Inadaquite and unsuited for such an attack.

I call bullshit.

5. Timing is critical on this..
It needs to come at just the right point before the elections so that McThuselah can reap the utterly inevitable "war bounce".

Nice touch, that. Would put Iran in a difficult position: an insane but cowardly rogue superpower attacks them with guided missiles, but if they retaliate in any way (beyond trying to shoot them down) it gives the superpower enough leverage to spin a justification for total war and total destruction. Using, of course, remote weapons.

I can't say I want to predict how Iran would likely respond to that. For sure, they wouldn't just be spinning words when they argued strategy for countering "an existential threat".

When little bush said he was going to 'sprint to the end' this is what he meant.

They have to create so much chaos before November that they have an excuse to suspend the elections and declare martial law.

They know that 75% of the country will vote Dem (especially now with the announcement of Sarah "one heartbeat away from the Presidency" Palin.)

The newspaper "De Telegraaf" may be popular but so is the New York Post and the National Enquirer.

I looked in the NRC Handelsblad and found no mention of this.
