Imagine What Biden Will Do to That Woman During The VP Debate
A lamb to slaughter. This won't even be funny, but you can bet I'll be watching anyway.

18. I think it will be fine, after all this is the man that created the Violence against woman act
That wacko "VP" candidate will look idiotic in comparison.

2. He needs to be careful.
Beating up on a woman may not fair well with certain voters. As long as he keeps to the issues, he should be able to out do her.

4. Biden always attacks the issues - never the person.
I hope he makes her squirm, though.

16. I remember a debate when he turned to Hillary and said --
I think you're fundamentally wrong on this, Hillary - I disagree with you, and went on to explain why he felt his position was preferable to hers.

My point is, he can get the point across, with out getting ugly. Joe never got ugly with Hillary.

17. Agreed
I think that speaks to sexism as well. "He has to be nice to her because she is only a girl" implies sexism. She is running for his position. As long as he speaks to the issues and leaves gender out of the equation, he should be able to go after her as roughly as he needs to. She is not wrong for the job because she is a woman. She is wrong for the job because she is on the wrong side of history. We need to move past the last 8 years not stick with the same stupid mindset. McCain and Palin represent that mindset that is stuck in the past. To give her a pass on that because we don't want to offend female sensibilities is as sexist as saying she can't do it because she is a woman.

7. Yes, it will ruin his cred on the VAWA
However, he is fine as long as he sticks to the issues.

3. Oh no, they will make all sorts of things off limits
Just like rattling keys to represent McMansions houses. Then Biden will have to tread softly with everything he says about her.

Maybe he can ask her where her flag lapel pin is.

8. He'll do just fine. No doubt. Any attacks will be against McCain, not Palin.

12. In reality, yes.
In the reality the media creates after the debate, no.

You have to remember, this debate will be interpreted by the same people that determined that Gore's sighing made him unelectable. Any perceived instance where Biden uses ANYTHING to his advantage will be interpreted as him attacking a woman, and by proxy all women. They will then go on and on and on about this until all content and message have become distant memories, and all that is remembered is "That bastard Biden attacking a mother of 5."

13. What is McCain Thinking? One Alaskan’s Perspective.
"There are street signs in Wasilla with bullet holes in them. Wasilla has a population of about 5500 people, and 1979 occupied housing units. This is where your potential Vice President was two short years ago. Can you imagine her negotiating a nuclear non-proliferation treaty? Discussing foreign policy? Understanding non-Alaskan issues?"

... and portray her tied to the railroad tracks as Dudley Doright McCain rides in and does the HEROIC thing.

The GOP ticket is half farce and half cheap melodrama.
