5. Hmmm...Rudy is speaking at the convention, but he's still on a show.
I think Pawlenty is also speaking at the convention, but he's on a show too. Convention doesn't negate technology. There are probably more sattelite links in MN this week than anywhere else.

Naw, if they wanted a Pubby, they could have whoever they wanted.

12. Many Are In-Transit
I don't think Rudeeeee speaks until Tuesday and it's just a nice big limo ride from his NYC Ivory Tower to the studios...or he may already be in St. Paul, after showing his slimy face at the DNC. Pawlenty is already in St. Paul. If you haven't traveled recently, it's become a major pain...an all day affair.

Last week the talk shows were GOOP heavy...but they usually are, so most of us didn't notice. I avoid these food fights...but I may peek in for a few to watch Caroline.

2. It's probably because the Democrats are more interesting
Most of the people scheduled were Democrats who are already well-known or performed well at the record-breaking DNC (hell yeah! 38 mill! :headbang:). Also, it looks like this is the promised Dem assault on the RNC in response to the GOP assault on the DNC, which failed miserably to Obama's awesomeness.

10. This is how the GOP-controlled media can say they were "fair".
They have Dems on for week solid and then no one gets any air time when the GOP get their turn.

15. Well, well, well - turns out the shows had WALL-TO-WALL REPUGS.
Edited on Sun Aug-31-08 12:18 PM by kath
only one Dem.

Hubby watched. The Dem convention was not discussed AT ALL.

The Reps were given a forum to spin the Palin bullshit, and it was like our convention never even happened. It's SOOOOOOO blatantly obvious that the media are TOTALLY in the tank for the Republics.
