The first time I heard that Steve Doocy had said Sarah Palin has national security experience because Alaska is close to Russia, I thought, ‘well that doesn’t sound right.’ But now that Cindy McCain has endorsed that view, it means that I’ve heard it enough to know that it’s true. And it will become more true every time I hear it from now on.

It is reminiscent of the time when Hamdi v. Rumsfeld went to the Supreme Court and the media let me know that a loss for Bush would actually be a win for him. And of course, a win for him would also be a win. Beautiful in its simplicity. Just don’t dwell on the logical holes, or you will fall off the precipice of thoughtlessness and into – liberalism. It’s not that these two topics are at any way similar, but what is analogous is the fact that something can become truer the more times it is repeated. That's why I already buy into Palin's expertise in foreign policy. I’ve heard it more than once, and it’s a safe bet it will be repeated again tomorrow.

So, from now on, my resume will reflect my expertise on marine biology, because I live near the ocean.
This could work out well for a lot of people.

9. I live near a fire & rescue station, so I'm torn between being a
paramedic or a firefighter.

Then again, I also live near a school, so maybe I should just join the PTA and kick my VP career path into high-gear.

or is it nuke-you-la'r?

I forget...

As for me, embarrassment of riches here as I live in a major city - I could be a teacher, bartender, sheet metal mechanic, foreign car repair expert, real estate agent, chiropractor, dentist, lawnmower and chainsaw mechanic... and the list goes on and on.
