First Lady Gayle Manchin has some bumps and bruises but is said to be doing okay after a car hit her in Charleston on Sunday.

A spokesperson for the Manchin Administration says the First Lady was riding her bicycle along Kanawha Boulevard with Governor Joe Manchin Sunday morning when a car leaving an apartment complex hit her.

Charleston Police say the driver has not been cited.
