Consolidate Stories on RNC Protest-Quashing in a Daily Thread?

I'm interested in following this story and would like to see it made easier for people to spread the news or otherwise take quick action.

Would it make sense for someone who's involved with these posts to do a daily thread and invite everyone else to post their news there? I'd be fine with them posting it elsewhere, too; but I'd like there to be an easier way for others to find all these items in one place without having to hunt through the Latest.
