Are they just talking from a Republican stance - the first Repub woman ever nominated?
She sure ain't the first.

This is no where NEAR the historic significance of the Obama nom. Sheesh! :eyes:

17. Geraldine Ferraro
Perhaps you should take a look at what Geraldine Ferraro did with her life under extremely hard, sexist, discriminatory circumstances. Her pick by Mondale and the Democratic Party as VP running mate was historical. And she was qualified, unlike this extremist woman from Alaska.

I'd hate for the left wing of the Democratic party to become as silly as the right wing of the Republican party. Check some facts.

7. No shit!
The MSM really sucks. x(

Repubs are never the FIRST at anything that smacks of equality and diversity.
They should get NO credit whatsoever. The Dems always lead and they only
follow when it behooves them.

10. It is historic
No one this blatantly unqualified has ever been tapped for such a high office. Not even the Cokehead-in-Chief is this unqualified (at least he drank his way through Yale and ran a few businesses into the ground!).

14. Because as it stands either a black or a woman will be elected to POTUS or VP
It really does make it a historic election in that regard.

Assuming Palin makes it all the way to the election, a matter of some conjecture at the moment.

18. Maybe by historic, they mean a VP candidate that would fail
at the gameshow "Are you smarter than a Fifth Grader?".
