The MSNBC commentators seem really pissed
at being used as a scapegoat by the Republicans.

14. They cut off the 9-11 terra film and said that it was an insult to the memory
of those who died and it shouldn't be used for political reasons. Thank-you Keith. Thank-you MSNBC.

19. I happened to have it on when they did that. Not even to watch KO and
Rachel would I sit through more of that. I turned it to FSTV.

5. Even ABC online didn't appear happy with this story
On Obama, Earmarks, Palin Less Than Honest
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Conventions/story?id=5726571&page=1

Maybe, just maybe, some day soon all of them that are real news agencies will take offense as to how they have been used and stand up and be the watchdog on government the free press was created for!

7. true, but it's a start!
I think they are more liberal and accurate online than on TV which is sad. The un-informed, which make up, IMO, 99% of the voters need to learn and hear MORE.

9. I'm too new to do my own thread but Mathews just said the bump Obama had is gone
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 07:29 PM by bkkyosemite
He is looking at 42 to 42 but I look at RealClearPolitics. com and it has Obama ahead and the only poll that has them tied is CBS. But Mathews just kept saying it's gone the lead is gone..what a jerk.

8. I think that line of attack will come back to bite them.
Maybe Miss Moose thinks she can get away with mocking the media, but

they will get her back. It may not be this week, but it will come.

She doesn't have to buddy them, but making enemies is not smart.

15. I've been thinking the same thing. I see some resentment and defensiveness creeping out from people
like Norah O'Donnel (who's a theoretical 'moderate' who often buys into Republican framing).

McCain always benefited from a great relationship with the press. The press is probably pissed that their 'old friend' is double crossing them.

10. The GOP is all about war. War overseas, war against the middle class and now a full out war with the
press.

17. They will be singing praises to McCain tonight and up to the election-only Maddow and
Olberman won't but look for them to be "reassigned" or let go. The broadcast media is on board with the republicans for the duration.
