5. Did McSame's campaign get permission to use it?
If so, I won't ever listen to the Wilson sisters again.

12. Just like Reagan with "Born in the USA"
These 'Pukes really need to listen to the lyrics of the songs they try to steal for their own purposes.

21. "Magic Man" from the same album fits the current scandal
Come on home, girl mama cried on the phone
Too soon to lose my baby yet my girl should be at home!
But try to understand, try to understand
Try try try to understand
Hes a magic man, mama
Hes a magic man

10. She might be indeed
But I'll bet Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart who actually wrote and recorded the song will be even angrier.

16. She probably will...she wrote a protest song about the war...
I come down from Ft. Lewis
First time PFC
And kicking in these doorways
Ain't natural to me

But now I got my orders
That evil lives inside
Hate the sin and kill the sinner
And do it all with pride

Here I lie a'bleedin'
In a bombed out SUV
No more cell reception
No more light to see

Screaming hopeless questions
Dreaming 'bout my home
Till the chopper comes from heaven
To gather up my bones

I'm standing on a ledge
Out here on the edge
The moon is hanging high
It fills my dying eyes

Little problems, little lies

And all the young dudes fighting
So far away from home
Some are unsung heroes
Some are made of stone
Some of them are broken
The broken places strong
Some of them are crazy
Their innocence is gone

Standing on a ledge
Out here on the edge
The moon is hanging high
And it fills my dying eyes

Little problems, little lies

On September 11 of last year, Ann Wilson released her first solo album Hope & Glory, a work of both personal and political resonance which features such notable guests as Elton John, k.d. lang, Alison Krauss, Gretchen Wilson, Shawn Colvin, Rufus Wainwright, Wynonna, Deana Carter and Nancy Wilson on a set of songs by Led Zeppelin, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, The Youngbloods, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Animals and Lucinda Williams as well as her own Iraq war protest song “Little Problems, Little Lies.” The collection of material by some of the greatest contemporary musical poets reflects on the issues of war, peace and sacrifice, influenced by Ann’s perspective of being raised in a military family. The album “is all about standing on the edge,” Ann writes in The Huffington Post. “Each one of the songs was written at a time when the abyss yawned and it seemed certain that we were about to tumble tragically into it. Whether we did or didn’t fall is unknown, because at present we are immersed in a world too violent and commercial to tell.” Amazon.com praises Hope & Glory as “an artful account of the suffering and devastation that all war and economic downturn brings.”

19. I was thinking the same thing-- hope Ann & Nancy jump on them
I cannot believe, in my wildest dreams, that these two ladies of rock wouldn't mind their music being used
for such abominable purposes...:puke:

18. Yeah.... Ii'm sure she has her own good points for people who agree with her views.
But "the real thing" when it comes to a female politician who stands up for my values is Hillary.

Sarah is not "the real thing". By a long shot.
