Hilary re tonight's "speech"-- right back atcha
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 11:27 PM by ailsagirl
"The two party conventions showcased vastly different directions for our country. Senator Obama and Senator Biden offered the new ideas and positive change America needs and deserves after eight years of failed Republican leadership. Senator McCain and Governor Palin do not.

After listening to all the speeches this week, I heard nothing that suggests the Republicans are ready to fix the economy for middle class families, provide quality affordable health care for all Americans, guarantee equal pay for equal work for women, restore our nation's leadership in a complex world or tackle the myriad of challenges our country faces. So, to slightly amend my comments from Denver: NO WAY, NO HOW, NO McCAIN-PALIN."

1. I knew she wasn't about to let some
snarky faux neo-feminist pretend to speak for her. Go Hillary.

3. I really think that getting Hillary on board will pay big dividends in November.
She's could play the role of lioness that takes down the Alaskan Moosehunter. Moose are easier to shoot, they just stand there. Hillary is going to school this cupcake. That frees up Joe to pretty much ignore her, take the high road in the debate....the difference in stature will be painfully obvious.

But Hillary, she doesn't have to hold back. Shadow Ms. Palin wherever she goes. Demand a debate on women's issues. Watch Sarah cut and run.

4. Palin is the anti-Hillary.
I didn't vote for Hillary in the primaries because I didn't like how comfortable she had gotten with the Big Corporations. But as far as Women's Issues are concerned, anyone who supports Palin is against everything good that Hillary stood for.

Only a self-hating woman would vote for Palin. She represents all the women who have been abused all their lives but actually believe they "deserve" it because they were born a woman, and all the men in her life tell her so.

I have known several abused women in my life, and the more I look at Palin, the more I see the similarities.....
