Seriously. Does she deserve all the advertising?
A campaign should not be based on "don't vote for my opponent cause she is total crap".

You're right... the campaign itself shouldn't be based on it.

But I'm not part of the campaign.

And last I heard, we did still have some remnants of free speech left in this country.

I don't intend to stop pointing out that the woman cannot be entrusted with making decisions that will affect the lives of everyone else's children when she doesn't have sense enough to postpone an 11-hour flight after her water breaks.

She simply doesn't have the good judgment required for the position.

And I'm not going to shut up about that.

People have unearthed some strong circumstantial evidence on the former, and given the nature of her religious affiliations the latter might turn out to be more than conjecture.

Everyday, regular people want to know about this. It's up to us to spread the word. If I appear obsessed because I have a fascination with the "Christian" right and want to keep them out of power, so be it.

And perhaps it's because the American president has a lot of influence over the world in general, and us in particular.

It wasn't exactly the *Queen* (we don't have a King right now) that Tony Blair followed into the Iraq quagmire!

I love the Americans too! Just not the extremist right-wingers of either of our countries.

ETA: I think WritersBlock is actually American though currently living in the UK - am I right, WB?

6. Fortunately, I think our "Focus on the Palin Family" is largely shifting to real issues,

like her inexperience and far right wing beliefs. Even better our campaign will be shifting back to McCain since he and Obama are the ones that determine how most people vote.

The tactic of "bad mother = bad vice president" is very risky since many voters will either identify with the challenges of balancing work and family or will wonder why we never see "bad father = bad candidate" assertions. Especially since her right wing ideas will alienate independent voters, if we spend our time pointing them out instead of her dysfunctional family.
