Neil Boortz is a fucking liar, doing everything he can to confuse people
For starters, he's going around saying that small businesses do not pay capital gains taxes, trying to make people believe that Obama is misleading people about that. I'm sure that this will come as a surprise to many of you small business owners who are paying capital gains taxes.

He's also defending Big Oil, claiming that their record profits aren't really that big after all. He has even gone so far as to suggest that Big Oil is struggling!

He knows that the vast majority of his listeners are simpletons, the kind of sheeple that the GOP loves so much. He knows that by tossing around a bunch of economic jargon, that they'll simply swallow whatever he spews out as gospel truth. It's the same thing with that "UnFair Tax" that he's been pushing for years, hoping to confuse people into supporting it even though he knows full well that they would be paying MORE under his system than they currently do now.

1. I stopped listening to him years ago! When I first moved to Ga. he was sort of ok.
I agreed with him when he'd argue that the zero tolleraance school police were crazy when they suspended a 1st grader for having a 1" long plastic gun on a keychain. But he rapidly got more & more like Rushbo, and I've permanently turned him off!

4. He's a libertarian who leans towards the GOP
Every now and then, he'll blast the religious right over something. But he's usually in lockstep with the GOP, constantly going after Democrats.

Except now that he's shilling for Palin, his whole "anti-religious right" shtick just went out the window.

3. In other news.. Water still wet..
As another poster noted, Boortz was tolerable when he was actually a libertarian leaning conservative, but that was long ago.

Now he is a neocon shill and unlistenable.

5. As a small business owner that pays higher taxes percentage/wise
Than Exxon/Mobil, I find Boortz to be a pathological liar that pulls 'facts' and 'statistics' out of his rectum.

And I want the taxes I paid on capital gains refunded to me.

6. In the revolutionary days of America, he would've been a Crown loyalist
and apologist for England. Traitor.
