On MSNBC. I don't know who this lady is, but she said there's some "alfa-alfa" sprouts being recalled. :rofl:

OK, it's not funny that they're recalling food. I just thought someone on the news would know what alfalfa sprouts are. :shrug:

The guys who's up now just got finished saying the mandatory visitors were told to leave the FL Keys. :rofl:

I just have one question: What is a mandatory visitor? Like someone gets ordered to vacation in the Keys? :rofl:

He probably doesn't even know enough to wonder if the sentence he just read was right.

Congress critters are supposed to know better. But read this:

9. Grow your own...!!
Fresher by far than packaged ones.
Cheaper too!!
Buy the seeds in a good health food store.. you don't need much
Soak them (about 1/8-1/4 cup of seeds) over night in a mason or mayonnaise jar in a bit of warm water..
enough to cover the seeds.
Drain the water. Invert the Jar on a saucerwith a paper towel, or use a sprouter lid
Rinse them 2 or three times a day with cool water, draining them each time (only takes a minute or less)
When they start to get green, clean them and refrigerate.

Rinse jar, repeat.
