Even Selling the Plane on EBAY was a lie.....!!

CNN just exposed that lie and the fact that they sold it at a loss. Also, the broker who purchased it says he's owed $50,000.

2. This is an outrage. Palin deliberately lied because she knew it didn't sell on EBay.

CNN kills me. They do a nice investigative story and then feel the need to have a spokesperson for Palin on to "set the record straight". Stand up or back down, CNN. Pick it.

I think her vetters had her say "I PUT it on eBay..." which may in itself be correct. But she didn't SELL it on eBay, which was what she tried to imply. Apparently, AK paid $2.7 million for it, no bids were near the $2 or 2.1 million "reserve," so AK had a broker sell it. What really happened after that is...? If he's saying AK stiffed him on the commission, we need the truth! Oh, wait...it's AK politics. Truth is a rare or extinct commodity up there.

She said they placed it on ebay which they did two times but it didn't sell. Later they accepted an offer for half of what was paid for the jet.. No one LIED in this affair..

and she lied by omission. She gave people the impression that it sold on eBay. The word lie means more than just a false statement.

Btw, many con men operate via false impressions, they often don't need to say outright false statements. It's still deceptive.
