A few questions please!

Being away from DU for a few days can seem like a lifetime!

First, I'm pretty sure I heard on the news this weekend that Bush was offering Brazil $$$ for free medical care - anyone else hear this?

Second, can anybody post the thread where I'm sure you guys were discussing the report which stated that the FBI was abusing the Patriot Act on wiretapping & spying?

Third - anybody got that picture of the masked movie guy who says something is wrong - God, I watched the movie and the name is escaping me.

Fourth - can anyone explain to me what the difference was in Clinton firing all attorneys when he came into office - as opposed to Gonzalez?

I think I can answer number four.

It's normal for a new President to replace all the attorneys when they first come into office, it is NOT normal for this many to be replaced in a President's final two years in office.

They put the attorneys they want in place when they take over, and normally they stay put until the next President is in charge, then they get the axe.
