Is everyone ready for rising Gas prices and Falling Dollar?
Seems to me come Monday when the bail out of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae begin the US dollar is going to take a tail spin causing gas prices to jump once again. Also a lot of layoffs are expected from the retail sector as sales have taken a dump from the already inflated gas prices. I’ve heard some thing like 7.8% rise in unemployment

You would think most people would be ready for a change

But as we have seen the McSame campaign is already trying to dilute Obama’s message with a message of change their self.

I know a lot of folks are knocking on doors and manning phone banks, but has anyone organized the Talking Points so we as Dems can stay on message?

4. You know quite well Right Wing talking Heads
will be all over this one blaming the Dems for holding up legislation that will allow drilling offshore and in Alaska.

For the "Sound Byte Minoins" what will offset the "Rush LimpBalls" spew

We need to think a little larger then those of us who can read

Those Damm Dimocrats won't let us drill that oil we so preciously need for the security of Amurka

Do you have any thing in answer to that

1. Like a list of Bills the Dems but forward and Republicans Filibustered that would actually give Americans relief at the Pump Today not 10 yrs from now.

2. Like the History of Bills Phil Gramm and John McSame introduced that allowed the bundling of Home Mortgages that has brought about the demise of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae

can claim they "helped ease the pressure on America's wallet" in the run up to the election.

6. I read elsewhere that the Bush admin desperately didn't want this happen
until after the election. But they couldn't put it off any longer.

It's out of their control at this point.

8. That and China is threatening to pull the plug on the US Dollar
Everyone knows if China dumps dollars we'll be trading UP for pesos

Well now it seems China has been securing their Central Banking system with these notes. China is a communist country, they can order their people to "Suck it up and Take it" because it will be mutually assured economic destruction for both countries. But their system of governance will survive it and they know it

Those will give an indication about what will happen on Wall Street tomorrow.

But remember, Wall Street likes layoffs.
