1. There's nothing wrong with this except the seeking of nuclear bomb ban.
The unavoidable result of a nuclear ban treaty is that so many groups/countries would want to have the immense power of being the "only" nuclear power, there will be nuclear arms race in secret, and there will be nuclear bomb blackmail within a few years of a nuclear ban.

IMO, within ten years of a nuclear ban we will have a major world war - possibly a nuclear war.

remind them of the Moscow Treaty where Bush basically agreed to mothball half our nuclear weapons with no way to verify Russia's side of the bargain.

Then point out Obama is just trying to take them of "hair trigger alert" where they can still be fired in relatively short order rather than actually take them apart in put them in storage.
