I am in California, and I wouldn't expect to see any here, but I would be curious if others are seeing tough ads in the battle ground states?

1. Mostly focused on economics
I'm in Virginia and so far I've seen a lot of the ads that focus on McCain's houses and the fairly new one that links McCain tightly to Bush.

3. Here in Denver we're barraged by ads from all sides
McCain is saturating the airwaves and Barack is pretty much holding his own. We've seen all of the ads from both sides plus we've got the oil and labor unions attacking Mark Udall and backing unknown state and congressional candidates with wildly misleading ads. Udall (via the DSCC) is fighting back though.

Locally I've seen tons of Obama yard signs and bumper stickers. Not so much with McCain and I'm sure it's different in the Springs and the rural areas. My buddy and I were in a restaurant Friday morning talking about the RNC and two of the waitresses came up and were laughing with us about McCain/Palin being same old Republican bullshit. We were within earshot of several other tables and nobody said anything and I caught a couple of smiling nods from other diners.

I didn't see this much enthusiasm by regular people in 2006 and especially not in '04. We'll see what effect the media barrage has.

he is running a fairly lame remake of the Herman's Hermits song "What a Wonderful World" song which follows along the McSame argument.

It's a tad on the cheesy side.

edit: if you are interested, i found it on youtube.
