Not that he had held back as much when he anchored, but now he can tell the world what he really feels without damaging MSNBC if he were the anchor.

Listen peeps, this might be a GOOD thing!

2. I did get the feeling he was having to stifle himself an awful lot in that anchor role.
I could almost feel his veins about to burst.

But David Gregory is limp spaghetti compared to KO.

3. Agree
Yes. I saw KO holding back, head down. He really was holding a lot in. Let us hope it is better.

4. As much as I hate Orally, Hannity and the rest at Faux Snooze,
And as much as we in the left are starving for news and events without a RW slant, I think it's just as wrong for Olbermann to cross the line as he has in the last several months, and wear a scarlet letter "O" on his sleeve. I have a lot less respect for him, Randi Rhodes and Stephanie Miller because of this.

I just wish we could get somebody to just tell us the facts, then each of us can add our own slant instead of the newsreaders telling us what the slant should be.

5. I agree.
The big seat was not conducive to his style. This will free him, and to such and extent, Mathews, to call bullshit when it shows it's kernels!

Shamless pimp! http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=3946204&mesg_id=3946204">Palin-phobia! And the Adams/Obama Precident.

6. Maybe he'll finally mention the wet start!
Too many people, including people here(!), are giving McCain a pass on his murder of 132 sailors.

7. Yep - it's not like he's not going to be available for commentary
He was giving commentary when he perhaps shouldn't have before, now he has permission :)
