Babies take up room. Even if they're small and you don't gain much weight otherwise, you'll be visibly pregnant by sometime in the second trimester.

It is really weird.

There is no way she is 7 months pregnant there.

Anyone ever know of any pregnant woman at 7 months that looked like that?

I'm keen on the story, but this is a muddy contribution for this AK blog. Maybe it will look better tomorrow, when I can look more closely.

wouldn;t YOU dress as ambiguously as possible too? and the fact that this "pregnancy" was taking place in winter/spring..in a very "coatish" place...easy as pie..

teen girls wear baggy stuff & lots of sweatshirts.."lady governors" dress in coat-on-top-of coat, scarves & limit photo ops as much as possible.."announce" as colose to the "birth" as possible..have the baby "early"..and voila..a 1 month pregnancy w/ a 6lb+ baby..

I wish I could ask Gov. Napolitano (who's standing next to her in the governors' picture) what she saw!

She hid pregnancy and then went back to work the day after the birth. This is not normal. It does not represent the mainstream of Anerican motherhood. But maybe it does, given that most women do not breat feed and are not really attached to their infants. Any boob can drop a kid. The real test is in what happens after the birth. Obviously she was not there when the kid needed nursing at 3 a.m. She did not breast feed. I, who did the whole nine yards, feel cheated when compared to mothers like her who are nothing but frauds. I feel a disconnect when these half-assed mothers get all the credit. What did I try to do everything right for? Don't I deserve any credit? She cheated and got all the credit. Fuck her and the moose she rode in on.

Expose her, and she's done forever..ignore it, and we may see her as president before 2010..

We HAVE to "go there"..and it's not being nosy or sexist..It's being REALISTIC..

ANY mother knows her story is a load of shit..

The mainstream media along with the typical American idiot knows nothing about what real motherhood entails. They think having a baby means giving the kid a bottle and putting it out of the way until it wants another bottle. That is about as hard as playing with dolls and involves no real attachment to the baby in the sense that breastfeeding does. This is held up to be the paragon of American motherhood and in a sense it is true because nobody knows what breastfeeding for at least one year is like anymore. She is a fraud and knows nothing about the real experience of motherhood. She knows how to direct others to do the tasks that real mothers do by themsleves. She deserves no credit for being a real mother. Try telling that to the ignorant male boobs like Hannity and Limbaugh. Why should they define the issues when they have no idea what they are talking about? Neither does Sarah Palin. She drops a kid and abandons it to be cared for by surrogates. She is a biological mother, or breeder, not a real mother.

Bristol is 7 months pregnant now so it could not be her baby? :shrug:

I know she is telling LIES somehow but for the life of me, I'm lost.

1. Sarah Palin "says" her daughter Bristol is "5 months pregnant" now. That is what she stated when she told us this last Monday her daughter was pregnant.

2. From other Palin-gates we can assume Sarah isn't the most honest character when making statements.

3. Lets say Bristol is only "4 months pregnant" now ..... in reality ... Which means Bristol could also be the mother of Trig (the special needs child).

Sarah's used to lying to people who are on her payroll, or who are intensely loyal to her..It's not surprising to ME, that she thought she could get away with it.. and she might have, IF, she had not had to face wordwide scrutiny.

birth to Trig. Instead, Palin shoved poor Bristol's pregnancy into the spotlight. Personally, I don't think Bristol is pregnant right now. I think she hasn't lost all the baby weight from Trig. There. I said it.

If that were true, it's bound to come out. How could anyone think they would get away with it? The cost of that big of a lie coming out would be more politically damaging than the truth it was hiding.

For that reason, I just can't believe anything but Sarah is really the mother and Bristol is also pregnant.

If I'm wrong, I'll be shocked at the level of deceit, and lately it takes a lot to shock me.

It matters NOW, because he's the "hook" that gets the fundies who loathed McCain, to go and vote for Sweet Little Sarah..

Expose the LIE, and she crumbles into nothing but the liar she IS...a conniving woman who would traumatize her own daughter to futher her own career..Not at all the sort of woman they THINK she is...

I suspect he is considerably more intelligent than Sarah Palin.

This woman is used to getting her own way and thinks God approves of everything she does.

A combination guaranteed to lead to overwhelming hubris.

It only takes keeping two people quiet and is much simpler. This would require medical staff compliance with the lie, her friends & family would have to lie, and it would require her teenage daughter to be lie to the entire the world.

That's a whole new level, that I can't imagine anyone believing they could successfully pull off.

Until she decided to run for veep, it did NOT "matter"..and probably no one except her inner circle "knew" for sure, and who would they tell? and why?

If Trig has Down syndrome, he won;t care or probably question the whole thing. He will just be a happy child who loves everybody..

If she was coming up with a baby scheme. However, knowing she had this in her background, Why voluntarily go into the national spotlight? Why add on the Bristol baby lie when already in the national spotlight?

It just seems too far fetched. I might be wrong and very surprised though.

and possibly gain MORE sympathy because people "dared" to question her.. It was a calculated risk..Look how fast they threw Bristol under the bus..

and of course the media is easily cowed whenever a women yells SEXISM..

All she really has to do to clear this issue up completely is release her medical records.

In fact, that would have been the more moral choice, rather than outing her teenaged daughter's out of wedlock pregnancy in front of the entire damn world.

I have very little doubt she is hiding something.

And it might even be worse than what a lot of us are publicly talking about here.

and it looks like her breasts need to be pumped. And I say that from experience.
