Why no pictures of the baby and the family right after birth in the hospital?
Edited on Mon Sep-08-08 06:50 AM by rainbow4321
Specifically, none of Palin in a hospital bed holding the baby with a beaming daddy next to her. Or the family gathered around the new baby as Palin looks post-partum in a hospital setting, etc..
The ONLY pics of the baby from the hospital are the grandparents holding the baby in front of the nursery and that looked like a newspaper photo took it.
Something really stinks here. After a week of everyone on the 'net searching and srutinizing pics of her NOT looking pregnant for 7 months, we get a "her own kids and parents didn't know she was pregnant".
Throw in Levi's sister's myspace pics that had everyone but Bristol taking a pic with a very, very little and new Trig--the one where she calls him "little brother". One of which was is Palin is standing next to the sister holding Trig and there is not an ounce of post partum fat on her body. At all. The baby could not have more than a week old, if that.
Funny thing about those pics. Several on the 'net had the same thought I was thinking (but had not posted yet) "huh, that background in those pics look like a hospital room".
The message that someone left on the myspace asking about the baby, Levi and Levi's parents--"how are they doing?".
Show us some immediately-still-in-the-hospital after birth pics. In the hospital, of you, of Bristol, of the baby.

1. Doesn't matter. Here's what matters:
Sarah Palin is a right-wing Christian anti-choice extremist who opposes abortion for any reason whatsoever, except to save the life of the girl or woman. No exception even for rape, incest or the health of the woman. No exception for a 10-year-old, a woman carrying a fetus with no chance of life, a woman on the edge of suicide—let alone the woman who is not ready to be a parent, who is escaping domestic violence, who is already stretched to the limit as a single mother. She wants to force more than 1 million women and girls a year to give birth against their will and judgment.

7. It does matter...
For the reason of possible insurance fraud.

Who is paying for Trig Palin's medical care and are they paying for something which Trig is not entitle to receive?

5. Possible insurance fraud...
There is no problem at all with the grandparents adopting a baby of their child if it is done on the up and up.

If indeed this is Bristol's baby and the grandparents have adopted it, then I think it safe to say it was not done in a legitimate manner.

Which then immediately raises the issue of who is paying for Trig Palin's medical care..

3. There are only two ways to end this discussion.
(1) Photos such as you describe or medical records proving Palin's story.

(2) An authoritative account of what happened (either way) from an insider who was actually there.

In the absence of these, the debate could go on literally forever. People are still talking about what ever happened to Jimmy Hoffa - not to mention Amelia Earhardt, Steve Fossett, and Judge Crater! Also, seven years after the fact, we still are debating whether Cheney masterminded 9/11.

Information vacuums are inevitably filled with uninformed discussion. It's as true here as elsewhere.

6. To be somewhat fair, most women look like crap at that point
I sure wouldn't want my photos post portem in the newspapers! LOL

I'm very suspicious as well, but "no pics" from that time proves nothing.

8. There are a series of pics of her husband and Trig after the birth BUT there are none with all of
the family. None of their other kids are in the photos, which to me is weird.

I've seen a series of these photos but can't find more now.

15. I want to see some postpartum pics of her with her other children,
and one of Bristol holding her new brother. ;-)

I'm amazed that there is no fullness at all in her face. Perfect makeup, including nails. The Queen of Wasilla must have a totally awesome staff of servants.

13. I can't help but thinking this pic
looks like Gramma and Grampa holding grandbaby. Sarah looks like she's thinking (oh Christ I hope I don't get caught) and todd looks like he's thinking (I'm gonna fuck that Levi punk up)

14. Both of their faces say "I'm a lying sack of shite!"
THAT'S why this issue is important.

Lies, deceit, Orwellian message shaping and lack of accountability. Refusal to answer questions. Deeming oneself above scrutiny and oversight.

9. Not odd to me
We didn't take photos of the wife (or my X wife, with whom I had 3 kids) when we had our daughter, although I took a photo of the baby in the room later.

The wife would have killed me taking a pic of her looking all tired :)

18. And Why no Birth Records from any local Hospital?
From another thread this was one of the best blogs I have read on this whole subject.
http://www.democrats.org/page/community/blog/michellepernula

If true, this blogger works for a Democratic politician in the Alaska state house just one floor from Sara Palin's office.
The blogger claims to have formerly worked as an RN for four years, and often does basic background research on constituents her office is to have dealings with to make sure they are who they claim they are. (vetting?).

This blogger sure does not buy the whole baby story, and seems to be in the right place with the right background to check this out.
