Dear Barack: The word is "LIAR!"
Again the Repukes are defining you by lying. And again neither you nor Biden are showing the cojones to say "They are lying".

FUCK THAT SHIT.

just say it. "THEY ARE LYING". "THAT IS A LIE". "THEY ARE LYING AND HAVE NOTHING OTHER THAN LIES"

Not acting like it didn't happen. Not by ignoring it. CALL THEM OUT.

Please jsut try it. Once the words come out of your mouth it will be easier and we can start to define them.

It is time to take the gloves off and fight the fight.Obviously, the American public are idiots. they only react to this type of thing, not facts, long winded policy debates or anything of substance.

3. Agreed!

I watched both Obama and Biden on TV over the weekend. When asked about Palin and what she was saying, they both laughed and called her a tough politician. Great response! Whenever a puke is asked about Obama or Biden they attack. Palin is lying! Say it! Repeat it! Document the lies! Fuck this, "we respect our opponents." Everyday they're ripping you a new asshole. Fight back!

4. It's amazing how far Obama has come on his own with a board of DU advisors.
He really should allow the posters here to make his decisions for him.

6. I said the same thing 4 years ago when Kerry was being ripped by the swiftboaters. Fight back!
Edited on Mon Sep-08-08 08:29 AM by Jim__
Kerry had his advisers too. Telling him they didn't want to publicize the attacks. Trust me, the whole country is hearing what Palin says everyday. And when Obama and Biden smile and shake their heads, they look like losers.

15. That's my point--obviously Obama's campaign should be run by DU advisors,
then his win would be assured.

19. it would become a huge distraction
Obama would become the first major presidential candidate in recent memory to literally call his opponent a liar.

McCain would then run ads exploiting this gaffe, making Obama look like a hypocrite for claiming to be above that style of politics.

It would dominate the rest of the campaign, McCain would be off the hook for all of his weaknesses, and Obama would then lose.

8. Exactly!
I made this comment to my girlfriend this morning. I am sick of the lying McCain TV commercial which gets played over and over and which says that Obama will raise taxes on working families. That particular line in the commercial is accompanied by a still image of a beleaguered-looking family staring hopelessly toward what may be a television set. The rethugs have the money and the moral bankruptcy to run these lying commercial all the way through to the election. The closing in which McCain says he approves of this message is grounds for Obama to call him a liar. I think that Obama and Biden are making a serious mistake by not calling McCain a liar whenever they give their stump speeches and by not running counter ads in which they call McCain a liar.
