Jittery? Maybe it IS the caffeine
Forgive if this has been posted before but everyone should be aware

Center for Science in the Public interest says watch your caffeine.

http://www.cspinet.org/new/cafchart.htm

Coca-Cola Classic 12 oz. 35mg (20 oz. = 58mg caffeine)
Jolt Cola 12 oz. 72mg caffeine
Starbucks Brewed Coffee (Grande) 16 oz. 320mg caffeine

I was startled by the "regular Starbucks" surpassing a sixer of Cokes in caffeine. Be still my beating heart.

1. People are usually surprised to find out that a latte has far less caffeine than brewed coffee

I used to work at Starbucks and we had a regular customer who always ordered a venti peppermint mocha with 6 shots of espresso. I was really horrified by that and thought the customer was just a heart attack waiting to happen...but then I found out that the amount of caffeine in 6 shots of espresso is pretty equal to two 16 oz cups of brewed coffee (one, with a refill - I know lots of people who do that) and it didn't seem as shocking.

Brewed coffee definitely gives me the jitters, whereas espresso does not.

2. Caffeine doesn't make me jittery but I'd never drink 6 shots of espresso in one sitting.
That's just asking for trouble.

3. I like Starbucks, but even the decaf is strong
Near my employment there are a couple of starbucks and a couple of local java joints, I try for fair trade organic when possible but the starbucks is closer. Yummy strong.

Too much caffeine is in food, especially food targeted at kids. May the F&DA survive these last eight deregulating cronyistic republican years--
