My wife and I just sent a e-mail to MSNBC at the Outrage of replacing Keith.
Here is what we wrote:

I am TRULY OUTRAGE that you would replace Keith Olberbermann with David Gregory! Please note my husband and I will NO LONGER be Watching your election coverage until this stupid appeasement of the Bush Administration, RNC and McCain Campaign is rectified!

Anyone else going to Boycott MSNBC coverage of the election until this is undone?

1. MSNBC thinks right-wing coverage is "neutral" evidently.
So I won't be watching them.

8. Thanks
I didn't donate anything (at the end of the survey they ask you to), so I hope my vote went thru.

10. It's still bullshit. I guess Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchanan will
still be yelling their bogus right-wing talking points, eh?

MSNBC is off at my house now.

11. SIGN THE PETITION
You might not have to stop watching MSNBC if we can get them to change their decision.

14. Wow, if you get enough people to do that, Keith and Rachel's ratings will drop.
Then MSNBC can cancel them.

16. They cancelled Donahue's show when it was the highest rated
so ratings mean nothing to them pushing the GOP.

15. KO will still be on debate/election coverage as an analyst.
He just won't be anchoring. And really, analyst is what we want him doing anyway. As anchor, he would be constrained from delivering his kind of appeal.

17. They don't respond to emails or snail mail..
I went thru a period where every day I sent emails to Joe S.,
or Pat B., or Chris M..... and nothing.

They are a 'for profit' corporation.
When the stockholders yank their chain,
then they do things.

But do they care about viewership?

no.

I only watch Keith, and now I'll watch RAchel M.

But they honestly, truly, really don't give a rat's ass about us.

19. MSNBC
They are about to learn a lesson that Hillary, and now Obama, are learning. There is no way to appeal to the Right Wing. If you try and act more centrist, they will correctly interpret that as weakness, and continue to attack and attack until you are either crippled or dead. If you think they like you, no, because given a choice between a center-right and a Full Blown right winger, they will take the right winger. When Obama and Hillary try to pplay like "we are not those scary liberals you are afraid of" they isolate the liberals, and leave themselves open for the right to mow down. Even if they get some people who like them, the right will summon forth a cheap copy, easily controlled. "You like the Daily show, try the FoxNews ripoff? You like Hillary, try Sarah Palin? Cheap clones who are safely under control of the Military/industrial/Church complex!", and I will bet they run Condi Rice in 2012 to get ALL the angles
