This election will hinge on what all other elections hinge upon---to win you have to garner at least one more vote than the other guy.

We have to get Obama voters to the polls. And, we have to make damned sure that the Obama vote is not illegally supressed. We do those two things, and Obama will win this thing in a landslide.

The GOP is sending out letters to newly registered voters with "do not forward" instructions. The return of these letters, resulting from recent address changes of the addressee, will result in the GOP constructing caging lists for tens of thousands of registrants in each state who strongly lean to Obama. Over the entire country this effort will try to strip the voting rights of millions of Americans.

Anyone who has moved since registering to vote is going to need to act to defend their registered voting status. I hope the 50 state strategy includes a voter-registration defense kit developed for each of the 50 states so that dem voters can be prepared to fend off the caging and secure their franchise.
