Bartcop is no longer a liberal.
In Bartcop's latest blog post, when he mentions that Olbermann and Tweety no longer are anchors for the election, and that Rachel Maddow will now have her own show, he calls them "in love" with Obama.

Face it, Bartcop threw a HUGE tantrum when Hillary lost out to Obama, and he just will not let that go.

4. IMO, Bartcop is a true conservative.
Edited on Mon Sep-08-08 04:44 PM by liberalmuse
So is Maher. They are what conservatives would've been, had the religious fanaticism not taken over. I respect that, and maybe agree with them 75% of the time. It's been difficult to read Bartcop the past two years. I understand his frustration with the Democrats in Congress, and I understand his loyalty to the Clintons. When the stakes are this high, I'll take a 'pink tutu Democrat' over a Republican any day of the week.

12. Bartcop's entry...
MSNBC is removing Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as the anchors of live political events,
because they are too opinionated to be seen as neutral in the heat of the presidential campaign.

David Gregory, dance partner for Karl Rove, will take over during such events.

The move follows increasingly loud complaints about Olbermann's anchor role at the conventions.
Olbermann, who regularly assails Bush and McCain, was effusive in praising Barack Obama.

Well, I hate losing a voice on the Left - and whatever you'd call Tweety - but it's about time.
Olbermann and Tweety were always head-over-heels in love with Obama and every word
out of their mouths confirmed it. Even the goons at FOX Whore News aren't as in-love
with Bush & McCain as these two are for Obama.

How could MSNBC pretend to be a news channel when their anchors get chills up their legs
when their candidate speaks? And every time Obama said anything, these two would prattle on,
calling it "surely the greatest speech ever given by anyone on any topic" and suggest that kids
in school should watch and memoroize that speech like it was another Gettysburg Address.

These two are the opposite of professional - their hero worship is embarrassing.

BUT...

Rachel Maddow is exactly the same and her new MSNBC show starts next week.
She lives and breathes Obama's divinity with every beat of her heart.
She was hired to echo the comments made my Tweety and Olbermann.

Are they going to dump her, too?

Note: Don't get mad at me for speaking the truth.
If you really, really, really like Obama, I'm sure you've regarded the words of Tweety
and Olbermann as "just common sense," but they clearly went waaaaaay too far.

Hell, we might've had a different nominee if MSNBC had done this earlier.

18. Wrong About Maddow
I will admit that I am a fan of Rachel Maddow, but I still think Bartcop might be at least slightly wrong about Maddow. Maddow has been able to criticize Obama. I have listened to Maddow's show and I know that at least on one occasion she actually said she was worried that Obama was too naive to be the President. She compared Obama to Deval Patrick, the governor Massachusetts, in that Patrick had had some of the same people who were on Obama's campaign and Patrick had had a similar message to Obama's, but once Patrick got into office things just stalemated. There have been other occasions in which Maddow has criticized Obama. Those criticisms have mainly been concerning the fact that Obama was not going after John McCain enough. However, I did not get the feeling that Maddow was just an Obama supporter. She seemed to call McCain out on his misstatements.

19. Wow, I'd forgotten about that website.
Real long ago I used to stop by, but the format was quite unappealing. It took really long to load (and I was on high speed) and just was strange.

Tweety was never in the tank for Obama, he simply likes to hear himself pontificate. And up until a year and half ago, you couldn't find him questioning anything about the administration, at all. Keith may be obviously for Obama, and the powers that be have decided there is no place for that, but to say Fox 'news' aren't in love with Bush/McCain/Palin to frightening degree reveals someone who doesn't get it.

17. Bartcoppers are weird ingrown types
I'd visited there years ago, posted as Mimosa. They are paranoics and always scared of trolling freepers even though as far as I could tell no freepers ever bothered with them

There's only one sensible funny and wise Bartcopper: "Throgg". I'm not sure of the spelling, haven't been there for over a year. I got repelled by the nasty 'granny' and KCPete, I think it was.
