Is Randi on? Had Ed Schultz taken over every AAR channel?

really paranoid about Ed Schultz trying to take over all of left talk radio since his power play trying to push Thom Hartmann off the stations where Franken had been.

Randi isn't going to be pushed out as things now stand nor opposite Big Ed on the Jones network.

Long time in radio talk across many different subjects, much like Thom Hartman in viewpoint. Used to be liberatarian/progressive, but unlike "Big Eddie", he's gone pretty much to the real liberal side of progressive instead of the pragmatic side of liberatrian.
He'll admit any biases he has but will still (generally) try and have a legitimate discussions with everyone, including halfway intelligent radical or freeper types - and he doesn't usually end with the "we'll agree to disagree", either. His guests in the morning range from local/state political figures and activists, to minor celebraties like the head of the New Black Panthers, to the occasional freeper nutjob he'll bring on so San Diegans can "whack" on.
When he does rant, he doesn't tend to let his rants get in the way of real information or legitimate positions.

This is the third time he's subbed for Randy. As a Clear Channel employee, one can never be sure when they might want to pull the plug so he needs to get as much air time as he can to change markets if they do decide liberal talk don't play inSane Diego.

I listen to Stacey, Scooter and Craig every morning on KLSD. They put the 'L' in liberal, trust me. Stacey IS, however, VERY diplomatic, and interacts very respectfully with everyone.

I met him at our Democracy Fest within the past year; he and I talked about religion for a few moments. Stacey identified himself as a 'secular humanist;' he does, however, put on Dr. Madison Shockley - who is very progressive every Friday. He is a UCC minister, and is all about social activism. Shockley has his own show, also, now.

It's a great lineup.

Yes, I do worry about Stacey and Team's future; so, I hope that Randi helps him get a national show.

I make it a point to turn our 'liberal' station off from 12-3 every day when they break away from AAR for Ed's DLC rightwing bullshit
