Phoenix: Anti-war protests target Kyl, McCain offices March 19
Monday, March 12, 2007

Anti-Iraq war protests are planned for March 19 in Phoenix to mark the fourth anniversary of the start of the Iraq War.

Anti-war groups plans to protest in front of U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl's office at 24th Street and Camelback Road and then march to U.S. Sen. John McCain's office at 16th Street and Bethany Home Road.

McCain and Kyl, both Republicans, have been supporters of the Iraq war and the recent troop buildup in Baghdad.

The protests will begin midday March 19 and include a 5 p.m. rally in front of McCain's Phoenix office.

1. Darn it! I'm going out of town that day. Sorry to miss an opportunity to moon Kyl
though. Good luck everyone. I'm with you in spirit!
