Pink Floyd on PigGate
Pigs (three different ones)

Big man, pig man, ha ha, charade you are
You well heeled big wheel, ha ha, charade you are
And when your hand is on your heart
You're nearly a good laugh
Almost a joker
With your head down in the pig bin
Saying "keep on digging"
Pig stain on your fat chin
What do you hope to find?
When you're down in the pig mine
You're nearly a laugh
You're nearly a laugh
But you're really a cry.
Bus stop rat bag, ha ha, charade you are
You fucked up old hag, ha ha, charade you are
You radiate cold shafts of broken glass
You're nearly a good laugh
Almost worth a quick grin
You like the feel of steel
You're hot stuff with a hat pin
And good fun with a hand gun
You're nearly a laugh
You're nearly a laugh
But you're really a cry.
Hey you Whitehouse, ha ha, charade you are
You house proud town mouse, ha ha, charade you are
You're trying to keep our feelings off the street
You're nearly a real treat
All tight lips and cold feet
And do you feel abused?
.....!.....!.....!.....!
You gotta stem the evil tide
And keep it all on the inside
Mary you're nearly a treat
Mary you're nearly a treat
But you're really a cry.

15. I got to see a Dio concert
Where a huge mechanical dragon and spider did battle with lazers. I swear it wasn't just a hallucination. Ronnie the little "Elf" warrior he is, slew them both.

17. I saw Dio too, but during the Black Sabbath years. I missed the ONE time (that I know of)..
that Rainbow came through Seattle - that is Rainbow with the classic Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow/Rainbow Rising/Long Live Rock n Roll period.

11. Ah so, Grasshopper...years of studying the Ancient Knowledge will
have its effect. Which is why it is pursued with such determination, no?

8. Roger Waters supports Obama
He's been releasing these pig balloons with pro-Obama messages on them: You can't see it here, but the one in this picture purportedly had the name 'Obama' next to a checked box spray painted across the bottom, and was released over the crowd at a show in California (I think it was in May?)

daughters are Floydians or I'd be disappointed in myself as their padre.

14. That's who Sarah Palin reminds me of! Mary Whitehouse!
http://www.trashfiction.co.uk.nyud.net:8080/jagger_whitehouse.jpg

Responsible for trying to censor everything in the UK in the 60s and 70s - head of the self-styled 'Viewers and Listeners Association'. A smug, self-satisfied prig who was responsible for bringing the last prosecution under England's antiquated blasphemy law (it was a private prosecution - the state knew it was a waste of time, and hadn't tried to use the law since the 1920s).
