I'll vote for hope, but I wish there was more I could do to save America
I am trying desperately to scrape up some optimism about America, but I see trouble down the road coming from all sides. I'm afraid my vote won't even be counted, but I WILL vote, straight Democratic down the line, like always, like my mom and dad have always voted, but I really wish there was something more concrete I could do besides vote.

One person doesn't have much power, power only comes to people when they act together, by the millions, and right now, the rotten people have the power. We've got to exercise OUR power, and it has to go beyond pulling the lever at the voting booth.

I've seen a lot of people say that if mccain steals it, they'll consider physically leaving America. Sometimes I wish I could, but I can't, I can only hang around here and live through whatever the assholes have planned for us.

My wish is that things get so bad that BOTH sides of the political spectrum will get together and manifest their true power to rid our government of the maniacs who are taking us all down the road to hell.

But that too is a pollyanna optimist's dream. I will vote, but the last two elections left me with a hollow feeling of hopelessness. I wish there were something more that I could do besides just voting.

1. Waking up to the media "lipstick on a pig" storm which will, no doubt,
play on a continual loop throughout the day, makes me realize it's happening all over again. Damn! Democrats have got to STOP making nice. Nice is not going to win the race. I'm beside myself. Every Democrat who can get in front of a camera today should cry "BULLSHIT" loud and long. This is Rovian bullshit.
