What the Media Did Not Talk About Today
On his show "Countdown with Keith Olbermann", Keith Olbermann asked Richard Wolfe if the discussion of the lipstick on a pig comment was a way not to have to talk about real issues. Wolfe answered yes and I agree. When Olbermann asked that questioned I realized that there was a major story that the media, at least the CBS Nightly News had not talked about. Today, the Washington Post had on its front page a story discussing the $500 billion deficit that the next President will inherit. As a result of talking about the lipstick on a pig comment the media spent less time if any talking about the $500 billion deficit the country will soon have.

Judge cuts Abramoff's Fla. sentence by a third

MIAMI (AP) - A judge has reduced former Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff's Florida prison sentence because of extensive cooperation with authorities.

The sentence reduction is reward for Abramoff's cooperation in the Florida case and a Washington corruption investigation that has resulted in the indictment of a dozen people.

A judge in Washington last week sentenced Abramoff to four years in the corruption case. The two sentences will run simultaneously. Abramoff has already spent two years in prison in the Florida case.

About how easily voting machines can be hacked.

So what do we do about our votes being hacked. Not much. That time has passed to destroy the machines. They will steal votes.

What each of us can do is tell our local election officials that we know and will be watching.
