With each special comment KO puts his career on the line. I know Hillary supporters were angry
when he went after her. Trust me, without Obama in the race I would not have like it either. But KO spoke from the heart. He didn't slam her because he hated Hillary. He slammed her for what she was saying about the obvious winner of the nomination after it was clear who that was going to be. But please remember in the corporate media's mind it is perfectly okay to go after Hillary. She and Bill are hated by corporate media because she and Bill as first lady and president gave a shit about the little people. That's why some on KO's own network were able to get away with their sexist comments about Hillary day after day during the primaries. However, McCain and the GOP are beloved by the corporate media because they see more money in their future at the expense of actual news and the American people. There will be back lash against KO after tonight and we need to support him and stand firm.

3. You really need to learn more about what legislation he got passed while he
was in office. The Clintons are the head of the corporate wing of the party.

4. She and Bill are hated by corporate media
Bullcrap.

Bill signed more pro-business legislation into law than any Republican President since the Great Depression.

They loved to act like they hated them to keep ratings up, but they actually loved them.

7. "They loved to act like they hated them to keep ratings up, but they actually loved them."
Now there is desperate excuse making. You can, of course, provide links to the proof that corporate media LOVED Bill and Hillary Clinton? I'm sure there's something between the pro-impeachment editorials and all the other fun articles.

Maybe you overheard phone calls? Read private emails? SHOW ME YOUR PROOF for that pathetic, biased, reaching calumny.

13. Telecommunications Act of 1996?

That worked out pretty well for Rupert Murdoch...

5. I don't support "personalities"; I support the best policy.
Technically, the party nominates their candidate during the convention.

Technically.

Yes, we knew it was more than likely going to be Obama, but like Doris Kearns Goodwin always reminds us, the function of the conventions are different now than what they used be.

Nonetheless, KO's Special Comment bashed the GOP more than it bashed anyone else. After all the GOP was in power when it happened and have bungled every opportunity to lead ever since.

Let's keep that in mind.

6. You would not have liked it without Obama in the race?
So, because Obama was in the race, democracy requires only token observance? KO can take his "heart" and stuff it in the orifice where his dick hangs out...or is it the same damn thing?

What a putrescent excuse: his "heart."

9. No...I think he slammed her because he hated her. As for your claim that
it was perfectly clear Obama was going to be the nominee....I disagree. Obama was the front-runner, Hillary was trying to unseat him. Your argument only works if one accepts the argument that the PD-count winner HAD to be the nominee for it to be legitimate. The rules of the DNC, and past precedent, contradicted that argument.

It's funny how Olberman, like other Obama supporters, wasn't angry when Obama called her "the master of the broken system." Or said that she "would say or do anything to win." Or that she was "fundamentally incapable of bringing change to Washington." Or that she was "Bush/Cheney-lite." Or that she was "perhaps the most secretive politician in Washington."

 I'm sure he'll get plenty of support from those who found him entertaining during the primary.

11. I respect and
..admire Keith Olbermann. Exclusively. Television news has gone dark in this house for sometime. I catch Keith on Youtube and here. After the announcement from NBC/MSNBC I have decided to turn on my television to watch Keith and Rachel..even if I don't watch it.

12. Well I haven't seen KO since sometime in Feb or March - can't remember.
I downgraded my Dish network in large part because of one of his anti-Hillary rants. I don't remember the specifics now, but I remember how I felt. He didn't just report, he went after her like she was g w bush with lipstick. I won't be "supporting" him, whatever that means. I do miss Tweety and Maddow, tho. And the KO I used to remember. But you know, I'm getting by just fine without him, and saving money too. Can't help but feel there's a little karma going on here.

15. We should continue to show our appreciation for folks like Kieth Olberman
and Rachel Maddow while we still have them. MSNBC and NBC are not quite the polar opposite of Faux News as evidenced by pundits like Brokaw, Scarborough, and Gregory, so who knows if, or for how long, this "progressive" experiment featuring actual "journalism" will be allowed to continue.
