What Will Be The Deterrent For Woman Who Get An Abortion If Abortions Are Outlawed? Jail? Death?
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 03:57 AM by orleans
so...if the court becomes too conservative (more conservative) and outlaws roe, what is the consequence to women who have abortions anyway?

will will be jailing young woman?

will these young women be given the death penalty (in the name of preserving someone's "right to life?")

what is going to be their "punishment" in order to deter women from getting abortions?

death?

1. Let's ask the conservative fundamentalists who so adamantly oppose abortion. . .
If abortions are made illegal, what should the punishment be for women who have one?

5. Oh that is priceless. Thank you.
I often ask the same thing of pro-birthers and always get the same type of answer or just a deer in the headlights look.

17. Am I too assume that not one conservative woman has ever had an abortion?
For any reason? They would have us believe that, wouldn't they? :silly:

3. This question needs to be inextricably attached to ANY debate on abortion.
Pro-lifers should be forced to answer this.

I would love to see someone standing next to these people with a large poster of a naked woman that states,
"Which is more offensive?

A. Dead babies
B. Naked women?"

19. yes, it is up to the states--but i'm wondering what these freaks have in mind
and therefore, what punishment would a state have for the women who have abortions?

even subsidize it.

22. We need to be reminded of what it was like before abortion became legal
Women died horrible deaths from getting abortions from people who didn't know what they were doing---not trained doctors. No medical facilities to intervene when an abortion went badly. I'm sure we all know of people or have heard of people who had gotten abortions in the dark days before it became legal.

24. Before abortion became legal in California, you had to find a psychiatrist
to say you would lose your mind if you continued your pregnancy. Then, you could go to a doctor and get your abortion. Just what a woman in that situation needs.
