2. I'm Probably Gonna Get People Pissed...
I have some very personal memories of that day...chatting online with a good friend in Brooklyn who was giving me a "play-by-play" out his window of that tragic day. I went from confused to scared to angry to numb...and still feel that way all these years later. I've traveled to Ground Zero several times and I still get a chill every time this day comes up.

I'm starting to get tired of the right wing trying to turn this into some kind of religious holiday...always trying to whip up fear and gain political points on this day. Those who did this job still roam free...that big hole is finally being filled and the regime that was in charge still avoids any responsibility for the lapses that made this attack all but fait accompli. (I won't even get into the MIHOP/LIHOP this morning). I expect the corporate media and GOOP to play up this day for effect and I can no longer watch any coverage on this day.

Now here's that weasel Mica...the fearfest has begun.

Cheers...

4. MIca is genuine scum
All the talking points are coming out. He's not too slick but he sure has breathing problems.

Don't forget to blame the Clinton.

Good call on now.

12. They're All Scum
Clinton never gets credit for getting the '93 WTC bombers and getting convictions as well. What have these asshats done? Just fearmonger and spew the same talking points that were distorted then and still are today.

He keeps trying to justify the '88 gas attack in Kurdistan as the justification for an invasion 15 years later...and you can still hear the Iraq=9/11 in this goons garbage. The GOOP doesn't want this case resolved...it's worth too much political hay for them.

:hi:

How many people has Bush murdered? Rethugs never give those figures.

3. I'm up early today (Oklahoma) - It's 6:45
My friend in DC emailed me an hour ago:

I've been awake for 5 minutes and had 5 reminders that it's the anniversary of September 11.
"This is the weather on this, the anniversary of the September 11 attacks."
Really? Is that necessary? You have to involve the weather report?

5. Rep. John Mica ...
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 06:54 AM by daggahead
He's still carrying the tepid water of the repugs - still perpetuating the lies that even Bush himself has admitted were false.

Somebody needs to tell him that Clinton was only in office for 2 weeks when the Twin Towers were attacked in 1993, and GWB had plenty of time to prevent the attacks on 9-11-2001.

What a tool.
