2. so you are saying that Al Gore wouldn't have ignored the infamous August memo, right?
You know, the memo that Bush brushed off because he was on vacation?

France, Germany and Russia were saying "A BIG ONE IS COMING!".........and the squatter in the White House just kept on chopping wood at Crawford.

6. How would it have been prevented?
To be honest it was Gorelick's wall between the CIA and FBi that did the most damage.
To you really think Al Gore would have prevented any Arabs from boarding plans for an indefinite amount of time. Remember the memo did not specify a day and time for any attack. Just asking we be rational here.

7. Clinton had a sharp focus on al Qaeda, one that Gore shared
Bush's focus was on Iraq. At least half the reason we were attacked is because the Idiot King looked the other way.

9. I'm sure Al Gore would not..
have been reading "My Pet Goat". I am equally sure that Al Gore would not have ignored the memo. I am positive that Al Gore would have absolutely made sure that the routine procedure for intercepting aircraft in domestic airspace would not be hampered by Dick Cheney's games. No matter how you slice it 9/11 happened on George Bush's watch, and it never should have happened. Unlike Condi's exclamation, everyone involved with the Defense of this nation could have predicted airplanes flying into buildings.

11. Al Gore probably wouldn't have given the Taliban $43mil and threaten them with
a "carpet of gold or a carpet of bombs" in early '01, in order to gain access to the Caspian sea, through a proposed pipeline, either. x(

5. Al Gore wouldn't have shelved the comprehensive terror report that HE helped author.
The Bushies came into office with the dictum that "Clinton = bad" so they reversed course on everything Clinton was doing.

10. Our war of choice would've been Iran instead of Iraq, probably. nt
