This is getting uncomfortably more and more like the movie, Idiocracy.

Be as polite as possible and say "get an IQ test, when you you get the 2 digit result, write it on a scrap of paper and put it into your pocket. Then whenever someone asks a question take it out and read it, and say to yourself I'm an IDIOT I have nothing to add to the conversation.

I want to do a blog on my lamespace to point out how most republicans have never had intelligence as one of their strong suits.

I mean that. Conservative or liberal. It is just too easy a target.

Well, yes. Perhaps letting others draw their own conclusions is not a bad thing.

not a 'learning disability' as much as it is that they didn't give a crap in school about learning English, spelling, grammar, or punctuation. I've worked around a lot of people with college degrees, even MBAs, who were bad in any or all of those areas. Some could barely write coherent sentences, and I'm not exaggerating. I'm angry with them for not thinking that writing is important. They only think what they majored in is important. But then they can't write, which means poor communication, which duh, you have to do no matter how good you are at whatever it is that you do.

Admittedly, maybe some of these people had lousy teachers, and (likely) parents who didn't/couldn't read/write that well, or again, thought it 'wasnt' very important'.
