Apparently, he thinks that it's okay for Sarah Palin to know nothing and to lie about the few things she does know. He thinks that middle America will take offense at her exposure as an idiot on TV and vote against Obama because of it. When he says "keep it up", it's as though he's saying, "yeah, I know she's incompetent but America loves her".
