3. Senator Obama is a Constitutional Scholar, a man of principle
and absolutely qualified to be the next POTUS. Senator Biden is incredibly well versed in foreign policy, TRULY a regular guy, and absolutely qualified to be POTUS. And as a bonus, they're both hot in their own way:9

Edited on Sat Sep-13-08 12:47 AM by quiet.american
"There is not a red America or a blue America, there is only the United States of America!"

"I am my brother's keeper; I am my sister's keeper."

And my newest favorite Obama photo:

18. I responded. Understatement speaks volumns.
Are they the very best for us? I don't know. But they're good, very good. Shout from the highest peak? No.

We, the American (US) public are hiring some caretakers for the next 4 years. We are going through the interview process. As far as I'm concerned, they're hired. Sing praises? We'll see.

If they don't do a good job, I'll look around for better caretakers. I kind of think they'll be fine.

14. I'll post a few things....
Unlike the Repukes:

* They both have IQ's greater than their shoe size.
* Both are capable of speaking coherently.
* They have personalities.
* Neither one supports waterboarding.
* They have a real plan AND desire to give Americans health care.
* Neither of their wives has stolen drugs from the poor.
* They support the troops in deed, not just word.
* They don't use the Constitution for toilet paper.
* They've actually studied the Constitution.

And the #1 best thing about Obama/Biden:

THEY WON'T RUN OUR COUNTRY ANY FURTHER INTO THE GROUND!

20. Barck Obama is the best man and the best black man for us to have running at this time in history
I wondered if we would ever have some like Barack Obama - He is polished, polite, and just very intelligent - as David Letterman said - this man could do my job but I could not do his job - David just really put this man on a pedestal - I may not like every decision he makes or how he does it but I will at least feel like he thought about it, weighed the sides, and picked what he thought was best although he can be influenced by the wrong people and I have seen that too.

I like him and I liked that he picked Joe Biden - I didn't know much about Joe, but now I realize he has wisdom, he has lived a simple life compared to most congress critters, and he has balanced family and work and apparently done a good job.

I think the idea that some people ask if he should have picked hilary makes this ludicrous - If he picked Caroline as Michael Moore suggested than that would have shook this up a lot - and she has experience and poise, and intelligence and understand this country and the sacrifices and has international experience. Unfortunately a Hilary pick would have meant the repukes would have focused on Bill and his body parts. This would have definitely taken it off the issues.

I like the way Barack when asked about taking on Palin he brought up a game of Horse in Basketball, he basically did not look at her as his competition. He did not take his eye off the ball. It is those types of answers that are so impressive to me. They are pointed, have boundaries and don't attack but instead just puts the person in the right place where they belong. His competition is with John and not Palin -

21. well sheeeeet
that's not hard. haha

he's our RFK. he's our hope. whether he wins or not, will that change how we feel? not for me. maybe its just not his time. but he'll be back. I truly believe now is the time, as he said, but he's not going anywhere mo matter what happens. Barack Obama truly is our hope. I feel extremely lucky to be living at the same time as him. I really do. it will be a great honor to vote for him on November 4th. I can't wait.
