1. That PBS Show... 'The McGloughlin Report" said it didn't "exist" anymore...
:eyes:

"THAT Bush Doctrine, that Gibson asked Palin about, was back in 2002 and doesn't exist anymore!" - McGloughlin - :eyes:

3. The Bush Doctrine doesn't exist anymore? Oh, this is perfect.
Really.

Because if the conservative press and blogosphere try to build up this meme to cover Sarah Palin's hideous performance with Charlie Gibson, I can't wait for a member of the news media to ask President Bush if his doctrine no longer exists. How is Bush supposed to answer? If he says it no longer exists, he invalidates his entire foreign policy and declares himself a lame duck. If he says the doctrine is still in effect, he makes Palin and her cheerleaders look dumb.

I'm looking forward to this crackup on the right.

4. The fact is that the notion of preemptive strikes
was merely a cover to invade and occupy Iraq and steal oil.

Great call on now.

6. The Bush Doctrine all along was just toilet paper stuck to Dubya's shoe
...It was something Bush and Cheney made up and waved at crowds like Neville Chamberlain did but allowed no one to really see or examine closely. Another bullshit concept from a bullshit presidency

8. More Lipstick On The Pig...
You can tell how bad the self-inflicted damage is by how frantic the spin is...and this has the GOOP spinners going at hurricane speed. This is another "up is down" game Rove has played this year...it's so outrageous that most of us either laugh or don't even think much of it...but the GOOP knows its chattle well and how those in that parallel universe are desperately looking for some excuse...the herd mentality in action. So when Grandma slips up, history and reality is revised...the same goes for Gramps. How else do you get a corrupt GOOP party run by lobbyists claiming its for reform...and not only do their sheeple eat it up, but so does the corporate media.

There is a backlash happening...it's quiet and very, very personal. The more Palin is exposed the more people are seeing how vacuous she is. She's becoming a punchline and what the corporate media is trying to avoid, many are seeing for themselves. As the old saying goes, you can believe her or your lying eyes.

I have one word for the "boooooosh doctrine": clusterfuck.

:hi:

10. Good Wet Morning...
We're getting dumped on and then will get Ike's remnants...but the lawn still could use it.

I've been getting a bunch of emails from various Jewish groups...including some very closely identified with AIPAC...from orthodox to reform...and all are alarmed by Palin's church and her support for Jews For Jesus.

Here's a link to one site refered in one email...give you a good taste of what's under the surface and could play a role in not only Florida but also Virginia....

The comments are very worth reading...
