Update on dad
Friday September 12th 2008 at 5:30 am dad lost the fight with his cancer and passed away in his sleep. He leaves bhind his wife, 6 children, 14 grand children and 4 great grand children. He is badly missed by all though we understand he is out of pain and he is at peace.

Wednesday he was trying to get out of bed, which he was no longer strong enough to do and my little brother with the help of my sisters bf stopped him. Dad then told the second oldest to get him a switch so he could beat some kids asses, meaning little bro and the bf. That was dad, even in while dying he had his humor in tact, the two "kids" he wanted to beat are 40 and 35 years old, lol.

That is how I'm dealing with dads passing I am remembering all the 51 years I have known him, some good some bad, but when you look at everything dad done during his 75 years he was an amazing kind man. I hope someday to be as great as dad was. Thank you for listening Cheerful.

8. Also, I like that a mere few days before he passed away he was still in charge
of his faculties to crack a joke. That's wonderful.

I believe that whenever you laugh and remember the good times, they know and feel that wherever they are.

He still loves you, and he still knows you love him.

10. Dear cheerful, I send my deepest condolences. Losing a parent is one of
the most profound "changes" us children (no matter our ages) can go through. I hope you let yourself cry like a baby as often as you feel the need, while you continue to hold the good memories of him in your heart.
