Solution for all the Freepers whining about "unfair editing" of Mooselini
Have her only do LIVE UNEDITED INTERVIEWS! "PROBLEM" solved except the real problem is not that they edited her to looks ignorant, the real problem is, she's ignorant.

She would never agree to a live interview! Maybe with asskissers like Hannity ("deference") but nobody else.

4. That's pretty funny. I expect that any editing of the interview was
to cut out the extra 3 or 4 minutes that sarah stared blankly at Gibson before she attempted to answer the "Bush Doctrine" question... That and other gaspers..

5. Yeah, that was the BEST LIGHT they could cast her in, and she failed
Mr. McCain failed as well. He failed himself and he failed the American people when he chose Pailin.

7. That's funny, considering the McCain camp most likely had final cut.
I wish I could see what she continued saying at some of those points where they cut her off with the editing. Hopefully someone leaks it.

8. um, you tell those freepers from one who knows
cuz it's my line of work: more edits means covering up for bad, incoherent answers. I am not in news, but I am friends with a ton of people who are and it's my understanding that editing in news has some pretty strict standards re the truth.

on the rare occasion that license is taken, it is to help someone, as they did with John Mccain's cbs interview-- and that was quite frankly a violation of the understanding that they are reporting news and truth. If, in fact, McCain got into office and people didn't know he was going senile because Katie Couric helped cover it up, there would be an uproar. She treated that interview (or rather her producers) as a celeb interview, designed to make the person look as good as possible.

No news person is going to edit something in a misleading way, as in putting wrong answers in to different question; what the freepers are complaining about is ridiculous frankly.

they edited out her pause. that only helped her. with all of the jump cuts in there, my husband and I were looking at each other wondering just how many mistakes she made before they got a usable sound bite. It wasn't a cut from his angle to hers, it was a cut in time...over and over and over again. I do a lot of interviews for TV and I can tell you, I felt for Charles and I was appalled at the number of jump cuts between the questions and her answers. WARNING: COMPLETE MORON ON BOARD.

I have also had the horrid task of working in the edit suite for hours trying to clean up someone's answers so it would be comprehensible. it can be a nightmare and that is what this looks like. for someone who talks in soundbites, she has these long winded answers which go nowhere - you can't cut into them, you have to wait for them to end, but they don't answer the question ever. I imagine they cut out a whole hell of a lot of charles begging her to answer the question. just answer the fucking question!

tell the freepers to go suck it -- they don't know what they are talking about, and in fact, the editing done only helped her so as not to reveal exactly how new and green and uninformed she is. did you notice how she sat, how she moved so much, etc-- she has clearly never been in front of the national press -- speeches don't count; I'm talking interviews-- and does not know the first thing about it-- for a beauty contestant, I find this disturbing. Can we not even count on poise from the Queen of Liars and Pork?
